      Abbeville Elementary School Library Media Center Vision Statement

      The vision of the Abbeville Elementary School Library Media Center is to inspire a lifelong love of reading, learning, and discovery. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student becomes a confident reader, critical thinker, effective researcher, and responsible digital citizen.

      Through the Accelerated Reader program, we encourage students to set goals, celebrate reading success, and develop a passion for literature that supports academic growth. By integrating technology and digital resources, our library empowers students to explore new ideas, strengthen research and information literacy skills, and engage with learning in innovative ways.

      Together, we are building a community of readers, creators, and thinkers prepared to thrive in a digital and connected world.

      Mission Statement

      The mission of Henry County School System is to produce confident, self-directed life long learners that will become productive citizens in our global community.

      Vision Statement:

      Abbeville Elementary School is a school where students THINK, LEARN, AND GROW which will lead them to be self-directed, lifelong, productive citizens in our global society!

Mrs. Jennifer Teat

I taught for 10 years at Early County Elementary School in Blakely, GA. In 2012, I became the Media Specialist at Abbeville Elementary.

I've been married to my husband, Daniel, since 2002. We have two children: Anna Beth and Hudson.

In my free time, I enjoy camping, traveling, boating, and reading.
