HMS Science Fair
We would like to congratulate all of the students in the 6th-8th grades that participated in the first Headland Middle School Science Fair. We had 15 projects entered and our students all represented our school wonderfully when they were interviewed by the judges. We would also like to thank HNB Bank for providing a trophy for each participate and ribbons for our winning projects.
The winning projects will move forward and compete in the GEARSEF (Greater East Alabama Regional Science and Engineering Fair) in Auburn on March 4, 2020. Also, we would like to send out a big "THANK YOU" to our judges, Sandy Armstrong and Bobby Hamil. They interviewed all of the students and gave them feedback on their projects. We would like to thank our bookkeeper, Mrs. Culver, for adding all of the scoresheets from the judges and making sure all judging criteria and policies were followed.
