• Welcome to Henry County School System Career and Technical Education Department

The Henry County School System offers six cluster areas in career/technical education. Presently, there are eleven certified employees teaching in these cluster areas. Among these areas are Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, Architecture & Construction, Business Management & Administration, General Career and Technical Education, Health Science, Cosmetology, and Food, Wellness, and Dietetics. In each career tech cluster area, there are programs and pathways that drive the course offerings. Student's career interests and surveys are taken under consideration before making the final decision on the course offerings.

Career and technical student organizations are integral, co-curricular components of each career and technical education course. These organizations serve as a means to enhance classroom instruction while helping students develop leadership abilities, expand workplace-readiness skills, and broaden opportunities for personal and professional growth. The clubs and organizations that are tied to the various career technical education programs are FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, and Skills USA.

The Henry County School System offers the following career and technical education programs for all students regardless of race, color, national origin, including those with limited English proficiency, sex or disability in grades 7-12.
