• Welcome to Henry County School System Transportation Department

    The transportation department is a vital part of the Henry County School System.  Over 1,500 students are transported 1,051 miles on a daily basis.  The bus fleet consists of 34 regular route buses and 8 spare buses.  Presently, we have 34 bus drivers, two full time certified mechanics, and a secretary.  We have an excellent safety record and have been recognized by the Alabama Department of Education for excellence in maintaining our bus fleet.

    The goal of the Henry County School System Transportation Department is to provide safe and reliable transportation services to students and to promote a positive image of our school system by exhibiting a high degree of professionalism in the fulfillment of daily duties and responsibilities.
