Learner Dress Code
The policy of the Henry County Board of Education is that good grooming and personal appearance are essential elements in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, it is expected learners dress in such a manner that will ensure health and safety and not detract from the learning environment. Furthermore, dress and personal appearance are not to be disruptive or interfere with the educational interest and welfare of the learners or the public school education. Based on past years, learners have taken advantage of the dress code and created an unacceptable environment for learning. Learners should comply with the following guidelines. Elementary Administrators (K-5) will have discretion in appropriate attire for Elementary students.
